January 1

Although I started the day feeling bright and sparky, I was pretty bloody tired by mid-afternoon. Who would have thought a night out on the town, albeit remaining reasonably sober, could be so exhausting? I, of course, blame the mid-afternoon pizza I had at my local pizza place. Almost immediately after gulping it down, I felt incredibly tired and came home for a mid-afternoon nap. Which turned into a late afternoon nap. And then an early evening nap. I’m tired now. Heading back to bed soon, I suspect.

  1. This morning I was troubled when I read what you had done. Where is my stamina? I am of a similar age. Pleased to hear it has taken it out of you a bit.
