Sydney Contemporary

“It’s overwhelming”, I overheard one person say to another as I walked around day one of the show. I agreed. Arriving at 4 o’clock on the dot, I did an initial walk-around, and felt exactly the same.

There is SO MUCH good art (and some pretty crappy stuff too) at Sydney Contemporary that I’ve concluded the best way to tackle the show is one medium at a time. So today, here are some works I really liked with the loose description “sculpture”.

And in case you’re wondering about the final work? It’s not really me sitting on the toilet. It’s an “interactive” installation. Or maybe just a good “photo op”?
